Soil amendments, topdressings, warning track materials … we have what you need to make your field better.
Topdressings give an infield its “cushion layer” to help with managing moisture. They are used to provide a 1/4″ to 3/8″ cushion on the surface of an infield skin. Infield topdressings act like mulch on a garden — they resist compaction and assist in water management of the infield skin soil. They also provide a cushioning effect on the infield surface for better sliding conditions. Topdressings are typically made of baked clays, expanded shales or other aggregates which are then finely ground to precise sizes to prevent the infield from being too aggressive on a sliding or diving player.
